Hello!! So I have a 1974 SN convertible, I have had her - “Nettie”for a few years and with the extra time on my hands finally have started to restore her! So after repairing the floorboards, Before laying new carpet - I got into seeing why her radio omites no sound - guess what no speakers - so she got new speakers and a new radio!! We had the power on and it all worked well, with the exception of not having it turn off with the key, so today I got to testing for voltage in each of the fuses to see which were constant and which were ignition operated - and I think the fuse box is a mess - not sure tho as this is uncharted territory! So using my auto voltage meter - fuses 1-7 never show a light, 8 & 9 are constant on and 10 - 12 are ignition operated, so my
Options are limited - 9 & 10 are 16 amp 8,11 & 12 are 8 amp - 10 is full and there is one space on 9 and one on 11 ( this open one seems to not work as when using it the radio does not turn on!? So is the 1 - 7 not lighting normal or problematic? How many piggy backs can each hold!! Any suggestion would be amazing!! Thanks so much!!
