looking to buy

I am in a search for a karmann ghia convertible. I dont want to rebuild it, I am looking for one that is a driver not show quality. I have been looking on line with no luck. I am hoping someone here can help me out help me to locate one. My first car was a ghia, i was 15 when i bought it. Now that i am retired i am trying to find one. online i see a few but i dont know if i can trust that site. so i have been looking for an owner that is selling. My hope is that someone on here will know of one and can give me the info needed. Thanks for any help

Thesamba.com is a great resource for VW listings. I'd recommend looking there, lots more activity there than here in the classifieds dept.

My father in law is getting ready to sell his 65 Karmann Ghia. Sounds like it fits what you're looking for. Well be taking pictures later today and preparing a listing.

Karmann Ghias are a classic. Have you checked out any of the VW-specific forums or groups? A lot of times, owners sell through word of mouth or on dedicated pages, so you might get lucky there. If you’re looking for something more reliable than random online listings, maybe try connecting with local VW clubs they often know who’s selling. Hope you find the perfect one
