update on my 411 see photo of how its going to look

hi chaps . well all the back is done all looking nice new brake pipes. all painted just need to put the motor back in . the front end is all stripped now . welding starting saturday .i have decided to do a german look all the chrome is going all holes welded up the trim round the windows holds the felt trim in place so i have to powder coat it .the air vents on the side near rear window are filled in . the door handles on the back doors are to be welded up , looking at audi handles for front doors . the indicators and the lights on front wings side are going will have indicators of a super welded in to colour coded bumpers . the rear will have clear and blue golf mk 1 rear lights the number plate mount is to be welded flush . trying to figure front lights out ?mk4 golf or the morretti panel ? fast car ads . wheels rh toplines seats ? nos chrome trim for sale round wheel arches or swop why wants .... porche steering wheel / why

Hi Sean,

Glad to see your progressing well with your car - you're certainly going to town!

I've spent the last two days stripping my custom 412 variant ready for minor welding and a full inside and out respray in a different colour.

I have virtually all the custom parts bought - just need a friendly bank manager for the rest!!!

Cool Car am building a similar one (1969).
to black out the window chrome on two door cars use type 25 vanagon seals they are very similar and some cutting and shutting will allow them to fit.

How about going with 89-93 Passat front-smooth looking, maybe you could duplicate the entire front panel-euro headlights, grilless section in between, cool plus still factory VW.
