I have a 1960 Ghia. I plan on buying some slotted rims for it, but want to make sure that 5.5" rims with 165 tires will fit without rubbing on anything. The car hasn't been lowered at all.
I'm pretty sure they will, but thought I'd ask around first...

should fit absolutely no problem, just make sure of the offset of those "slotted" rims, you mean the centerlines?

Whoops...
By slotted I meant the Porsche 356-style wheels. "Mangles" is one brand name?

Yep, I have the same ones on my car (sorry to everyone who has already seen this pic a hundred times) Here's a picture of how close mine come to NOT fitting but that is w/ 195/60/15's, using 165's or even 185's you will never have a problem.

Cool... I figured they'd fit, but wanted to be sure.
Thanks!
