This was a post someone forwarded to me, it was made in a Toyota Supra forum by a rather, uh hum, outspoken individual, but at least he was honest:

"After that I had to race a Carmen Ghia(sp?) race car with a turbo. It had been running low 11's all day and was the fastest car there. Know whats funny...I was the guy that got his ass handed to him on national TV by a Bug race car and I was about to get put out of the semi's by another P.O.S. VW. I was so damn mad. Anyway, he smoked me and won the whole thing.

Dude got beat by a car over 30 years his senior.
