i am restoring my 68' ghia and i was wondering if anyone has pics of one that i could see the dashboard and what all the components are. and i was wondering where i get a new clockand how much it would cost or if theres a way to fix them,also my book i have does not have a fuse allignment for a 68' does anyone know how the fuses align and how much amps each are? and if theres a cover u could buy to cover the fuses up......

There are some pics of our '68 dash in "Garage 2" of our GhiaGirl site. I think the fuses are all reds with a white on each end. You can get the fuse box cover from Karmann Ghia Parts & Restoration (keeps that cold wind from blowin' on your knee!) www.karmannghia.com

Russ, you just GOTTA get the Bentley manual. It will make your life w/ Ghia SO much easier & pleasing.
And I saw a KG clock on e-bay yesterday. You might also find one on www.thesamba.com
But get the manual first.

Russ, you also need the original owner's glovebox handbook that came with the car. It'll show you what the car the car is supposed to look like, and answer your fuse questions. Check www.autolit.com .
