I noticed no one really sells bucket seat kits for the type 2 and I was wondering if anyone has had luck with this issue..I think it would be cool to do like captain seats thruout the entire bus..but my main concern would be the front 2 seats..I would like to adapt them to the current brackets already installed so that they function properly without modifications....Also, does anyone know of a retractible seatbelt kit that can be installed also, maybe even pulled from another vehicle???....Its a '70 bus Im working on..
Thanx in advance...

Actually, I just got a catolog from Sewfine over the weekend, and they sell two sets of bucket seats that they say can adapt to ANY VW....pretty nice ones to, with choices of color and fabrics....they really need to update and overhaul thier webpage cuz it seems to lack, compared to thier catalog....

Hey All
I run cobra bucket seats in my '66 split microbus here in the UK and they look the nuts.
They also add to the early retro racer look!

If you check out
http://www.bus-boys.com they have some nice seats along with the right mounting brackets. Not in my price range but they do look nice. (They are around $1000 for a pair...)
