what does it mean when ???????
i have a 73 baywindow bus and the oil light comes on even though the oil level is fine and it seems to have good oil pressure what could cause this wife is driving me crazy to fix it .any info would help thanx.

When does the light come on? During hard cornering? After a long, hot freeway run? How many miles are on the engine? Has the oil been changed frequently? Is the engine running hot? What oil viscosity are you using? There's quite a few variables when it comes to oil pressure.
A quick one to check is to calibrate your dipstick to make sure it's right. I don't know the oil capacity of a 73 Bus offhand (what engine do you have? 1700?), but that should be in the owner's manual.
You could also try swapping the oil pressure sensor with a known good one to see if it still lights up (or doesn't light up, as the case may be).
That's the easy checks. Most everything else I can think of involves removing the engine and tearing the thing down.
