Just curious what other bus owners have stuck in the back in the way of batteries? Is there anything I should know before I get one? I am wanting to get an interstyate..its not a huge decision but I dont want to leave anything out(details)

90 % of the Busses that I work on have any old 12 volt battery rattling about , smashing the s**t out of the passenger taillight and leaking acid on what's left of the battery box floor - sorry what was the question ?
. if you still have the original tiedown , you need a (expensive) group # 42L VW battery , or perhaps the BMW battery that is the same size and hold down but I forget the group # right now - mostly folks have gaping holes in the floor and so they trim up a bit of plywood to match the sides and add a block the the rear end of it so the battery will not slide back and bash the tail light you just fixed .group 24 works great . I like Interstate but hear much bad about them from customers , YMMV .
