power stearing in my bus
anyone ever install a power stearing device in thier 60-70 year bus...and if so, how did u do it?

why bother? it's not like it's hard to turn the wheel, it would require way too much re-engineering. Just my opinion but it would be too complicated and expenisve.

I dont know why I want to do it...probly the same reason I want power windows, AC, power locks, hydrolic disk brakes, 2300 Turbo Injected engine with 4 15" speakers and 17" rims....just to be difficult I guess

VeeDub, This is common practice on off road VWs. You see a lot of the race cars with GM
power steering units on the right side of the engine.
I`ll bet if you posted this question on the off road forum that you might get some answers.All I can say is that yes it is definately doable. Good Luck. Bob

Whew, great project! Have you thought about peeling the skin off a Eurovan and putting the bus body on it?
