Msurf, changing the front beam on a van looks very intimidating but is actually very straight foreward. Is this a matter of putting your stuff on another set of torsion tubes? If so set up with a sturdy bench and do one side at a time using a good service manual. Have the alignment checked when finished. You`ll need a pickle fork.
Look at the post on this page "Off-Road Busses". That will take you to Baja bus. You`ll find a tech section there that may help provide some info. Good Luck. Bob

Thanks for the reply, Bob. I actually have already pulled another beam from a bus and plan to install the adjuster kit myself. I was a VW mechanic for some 10 years, and have no qualms tackling the project. The reservation I have is the learning curve....the first time is always a learning experience ( I despised learning on the job, ie eats profit) just thought someone in the list may have "learned the ropes" so to speak. Thanks again and much aloha, Mike
