Here's my situation. I purchased two wiper motors at the Puyallup Wa. show last weekend. One I paid alot of money for because the guy told me it was for a '67(12 volt) the other was cheap and a 6 volt. When I compared the two they are identical including the part number 211 905 111 Q. So I swallowed my pride and and delt with the fact that I got ripped off. when I tested the motors on a 12 volt battery they work, fast! I bought a voltage drop and only one will work with it, the 6 volt one.
Anybody know how to tell the differance between a 6 volt(1965) and a 12 volt(1967)? there are no markings on the motors.
Thanks, Matt

i can tell you right now that the 12 volt motor is not even the same shape as a 65. i thought i'd fit the 12volt one and it won't go in the car!
i'll take a look and see what more info i can give you.

Willie, in this country the 67 van wiper motor is a one year part only. It is 12v but retains the confuguaration of a 6v unit. By 68 we had the bay window and it came with an entirely redesigned unit. Take care and Good Luck. Bob
