how to lower a front beam for a 72 bus
hey, i was just wondering if anyone had a lowered 72 bus beam. or if u knew if anyone had one for sale besides bus boys....i'd like a good used one if possible....also if the stock one could be modified?...oh and thnks to all who replied to the last post.....i looked at some of the last post's and i got a good idea of what to do...thanks marti b

how to lower a front beam for a 72 bus
The only way I know of is to weld in the torsion bar adjusters from Bus Boys or Wolfgang Int.
This would mean that you can reuse your current beam but would have to take it out and part for welding.
I think Lawrence Merediths book "VW Bus Customs and Classics" may have detailed information on how to do this.
