Hot VW\'s \"Project Westfalia\" articles

Post by Joser »

Has anyone read these articles? Are they any good? It's starting to get cold for the winter, so I figure it's time to stay inside more and do some research on ways to fix up my '69 Westy.

There's a listing of the articles at:
http://www.scottandmaggie.com/projwest.html

So before I drop some fairly serious coin on ordering back issues (7 of them are still available at $6 each...), I just wanted to see if anyone has read them.

A lot of VW show dealers may have these magazines cheaper?

"Sound insulation" and "Handling" maybe informative..?

I am not a big fan of the VW rags because the content is way too skimpy. So in my opinion the articles probably will not be that helpful. Check out www.gowesty.com or www.westfalia.org for better literature.

Also http://bulley-hewlett.com/VWindex/ for insulation... Wow!
