removing fuel line ,injectors

I was wondering how to remove the short piece of fuel line from the injectors,looks to be crimped in place?I know if I dont replace them they will split and leak.thanks

replace the section or sections with quality fuel line from a VW dealer or parts supplier. They will also carry a quality screw hose clamp to replace the crimped one. Be sure to secure these lines well with the replacement clamps as the system runs under heavy pressure .Good Luck. Bob

Bob is correct. Use the factory cloth braided fuel line. Use a fuel injection type band clamp. Not the worm screw clamps that have slots in the band. These wreck the outside of the line. As for removimg the old line. Use a dremel tool or grinder to cut through the edge of the ferrule down close to the injector. Then use a large pair of pliers and some twisting to remove the line and ferrule. Cover the fuel opening with tape first...or plug the hose to keep dust out of the injector. Be careful. Do not cut the steel line into the injector, or melt the plastic. Ray
