74 with a/c heater hoses goes where???

Greetings! I'm finishing up my '74 squareback with a/c. OK, so how do you install the heater hoses - the one on the passenger side??? Also, how does one run the heater duct up from the heater box on the left side when the compressor pulley is in the way??? ahhhhhh!!!
