I just bougth a 1968 Karmann dow here in Mexico.
As you all guys may know, here in Mexico auto stick VW´s are very very rare. So, I sent the engine to rebuilt, but the mechanic damage the drive plate.
Afther some days I´m convinced that to find a drive plate here in México is imposible. So, all my hopes are at the other side of the river.
Do you guys know were I can find one those drive plates.
Also, I has been reading a lot on web sites that suggtion about not to move drive plate and not to loose alignement once you remove the engine. However, my problem is tha driveplate is damage and I has to be installed it. I don´t know for sure how to do it, how to alignement it. Any help will be very appreciated?
