Body parts interchange??

I need some body parts for my 66 Vert and need to know what years will fit. I know i need a hood, decklid, and passenger door. I have found a few hoods from later ghias, but don't know if they will fit. Also, are vert and coupe doors different? thanks for the help.

Coupe & convert doors are the same.The glass is NOT the same though.I am not sure about the front hoods though I believe up to 74 will fit. Hope this helps.

that actually helps alot. i have the vert glass, just my door shell is junk. and if hoods to 74 will work, then that's even better, as I have found lots of those. thanks alot.

No Problem. Thats what its all about is helping other nuts such as myself!
I believe that doors up to a 71 will work(trim holes different on 72 on up),but the inside door latch to open the door IS different. I believe the set up you have now is like a chrome handle kinda like a window crank.The 68 on up (that I know of) take a different style kinda like a late model bug w/a recess & paddle arrangement. I do not know if your style will retro fit to the late model doors or not as I have not had to do this yet!best of luck &.....

Get a catalog from KGP&R and you'll see what all interchanges.

If you need door glass, I have a set from a 1966 vert and some other parts.
