I wish I understood that turbo stuff. Can you close the decklid all the way? If so that is awesome. What kind of HP are we talking in this engine? Im sure it will be a blast. Danny.........

Thanks Brian...It's been a lot of work as you know because of my thread in the forced induction forum. Hopefully it'll run as good as it looks. The car is my daily "beater" LOL!

Danny, the decklid does close all the way. This motor (1915cc) with the right tunning should put out 150-175 RWHP with up to 200 Ft. lbs. of torque. I'm hoping to get close to that. I'm struggling with the tunning aspect because I'm new to turbos also. But I'm getting more experience every day. Hopefully it'll be a "set it, and forget it" kinda deal...

Wow! With those kinds of numbers it should be a real sleeper and a blast to drive. I got to ride in a buddy of mine's fastback that is 250hp turbo charged, it runs mid 7's in the 8th. I'll never forget the ride, it was wicked.

im lookin into my FIRST VW beetle now and I really want something quick but i dont wanna buy it quick.. I really want to turbo it. Is it hard to keep maintained? and is it gunna mess up alot

what kinda MPG do you get?
