Introduced to it through a friend who has moved out to Atlanta on work placement for a couple of years
Looks like I have another cool forum to check up on now!!!!!
Here are some pics of my '66 1300 UK Resto-Cal Bug. I have owned the car for 9 years, at last it's getting to how I have always wanted it, Bodywork and paint (bare metalled) was restored in 1995 soon after I bought the car however the accessories/stance have been added over the past few years as and when I could afford it. The 90mm narrowed beam is probably the major addition in the past few months.
It's turned one outer spline on the rear torsion leaves, the tyres are 195/65's and the wheels are of course polished 5.5j Empi 5 Replicas, we were very pleased with the angle of negative camber - just enough without looking "too" cartoonish!!!!!.
We were surprised how low it went too!!! I was screaming for two outers, but am very glad we were cautious and started with one. It's suprising how much lower it sit's after the suspension has settled for a while (approx 4 inches at the rear in this case)!!!
NOS on ebay Kat, still in the box with all the paperwork, instructions original vial of lubricating stuff and "pricker" for releasing the rubber sucker!!!
It Rocks!
Larry "de Fandango" has sourced me a NOS bulb from the USA as the original has decayed over the years.

I got myself an nice one from the samba too, stilll in its original box etc...had the prick stick thingy too, but it needs some new wire fitted to it before I can put it on Bailey....
Speak to E about his special "sticky" stuff - the suction rubber WILL not work for very long on it's own (a few minutes if you are lucky!) - I promise!!!
