To celebrate the opening of the new Herbie movie, the NAVWC is hosting a "mini car show" at the Hollywood 18 theater in Huntsville, Alabama on June 22. Club members will be showing their air and water-cooled VW's to the public in the parking lot and local radio station, WZYP, will be on site doing live broadcasts and giveaways. Our club will be out there for two screenings, the 7 and 9 pm shows, answering questions, talking to VW fans, and promoting our upcoming show next month in Decatur. Local news stations will also be doing live segments at 10 for the evening news.

So, if you're in the area, come on by to check out the cars, then head in grab some popcorn and catch the new Herbie flick.

I didn't know there was any doubt that the stations were going to be there. I'm going on what I was told by Matt who talked with the stations directly. News coverage or not, I'm sure we'll all have a good time and I'm sure the movie will be great.
